As we move towards a more eco-reliable future, our creations begin collaborating with designs of the natural world. From aquatic creatures to the gentle giants of Sequoia, products are becoming a symbiotic conversation between the techno-sphere and the ecosystem. Symbiotic Luminescent draws inspiration from various luminescent organisms, providing life to the lamp’s body. 3D printed using an iridescent filament, the shade glows shades of red, depending on the angle it is placed on. As we move toward the bottom half of the lamp, we can dissect themes of symbiosis further. While the birch base primarily holds the bulb in place, it encompasses four mini magnets that sit parallel to the magnets on the bottom of the lampshade, creating a symbiotic relationship between shade and base. Moreover, the mini magnets make the personalization of the lamp easier, providing a base for users to design new lamp designs. Create, Snap, Light.
