A Soft Void

Everyone, including strangers, has a life that is complex as one’s own. Yet we lack awareness of it. My project references this realization, as I documented objects I came across while walking through Los Angeles, a city with an abundance of culture and untold stories. I displayed these images by mounting them on poles, strategically placing them on different levels. The viewer then is prompted to travel through the installation, and ironically analyze these photos that are deemed to be uninteresting but are highlighted in their presentation. The pictures are open to interpretation and for viewers to explore their curiosity beyond the photographs.
