Do Re Mi

Do Re Mi is an interactive pixel game largely based on the lyrics of “Do Re Mi“, a song from the film “The Sound of Music“.

This game is inspired from an impulse to turn my childhood favorite song into an interactive game. I found it enjoyable to recreate a pixelated world of my own version for reminiscence. Hopefully the simple process of navigating music notes can bring you back to some old times memories as well.

Your goal is to explore the minin games behind piano keys and collect 7 music notes. Enjoy your journey!

Instruction

  • SOUND-ON!!
  • Start from the first music key “do” all the way to “ti”.
  • Use a computer to enable right-clicks, scroll-over and keyboard functions.
  • If you’re stuck, try finding the hint or humming the lyrics:

Doe, a deer, a female deer
Ray, a drop of golden sun
Me, a name I call myself
Far, a long, long way to run
Sew, a needle pulling thread
La, a note to follow Sew
Tea, a drink with jam and bread
That will bring us back to Do (oh-oh-oh)
