SURROUNDING THE BEAUTIFUL GAME.

Soccer is known around the world as, “the beautiful game.” Its beauty is not only recognized because of the sport itself but because of what the game produces. One of the beautiful aspects of the sport comes from the fact that all you need is yourself and a ball to create magic. Soccer has played a huge part in my life since early childhood and even until this day at the age of 22, just like any other person who is passionate about soccer will tell you that it is more than just a game. It is a lifestyle and a way for people to disconnect from the world for those few minutes they are playing. It’s more than just a ball, grass and goals and thats what I tried to display in my project through photography. As a designer I appreciate and analyze the beauty of design in everything and there isn’t something more beautiful that comes to mind than what surrounds the game of soccer through my eyes. From my 22 years on this planet I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing the sport’s beauty with my own eyes, and I hope through my photography book you can see what is consistently…

I am a digital media artist majoring in Design Media Arts at UCLA. I am always looking to break my barriers and get out of my comfort zone when it comes to tackling new projects, software and art concentrations. In order for me to begin a project of any sort I always make sure that I am passionate and proud about it matter so I can put my heart and effort into it. Never would I have thought I would be showcasing and finishing a photography project but with great mentorship and teaching I was able to finish a photography project with a subject that connects deep to me.
